Road Trek 210 popular

Considering a 2013, 2014, 2015 Road Trek 210 Popular. Have a 190 popular now and am really satisfied with it except we just feel we want a little more space and storage. Am wondering if any on this forum have one and what experiences they have had...good or bad. Also interested in general observations. Thanking responders in advance. Larnbarb
  • Thanks Gspeed.. We like the Chevy... Have had no trouble with it. Also gets great gas mileage. If I fill up on gas just before interstate, and drive 410 miles on the interstate, I have gotten 17+ miles per gallon. It seems that Chevys are being phased out but I don't know why. Oh by the way I only drive 60 miles an hour on the interstate.
Thank you for sharing. Could you tell me very briefly about one or two issues that you had? Thanks

  • Until we bought a C last fall, we had enjoyed our 2007 Roadtrek 210P for over seven years and prior to that had a 190P for many enjoyable years.

We loved moving from the aisle shower to the enclosed wet bath. We mostly boondock and found the extra room in the 210 very nice for us. In all the years we had our 210, the only problems were minor and it never went back to the dealer. Same thing for the Chevy....we had it serviced regularly but it never went back to the dealer, so we had great luck with the rig. We found the standing room, extra storage and the few inches of extra width made a big difference for us. The drawback, obviously, is that the 210 takes up a little more room to park than the 190. If you look at the dimensions of the width and length (with Continental kit) of the 210, it is not that different than some small Class Cs. We loved our Roadtrek 210 and found it really great for two people and Sally Ann the Wonder Dog. We moved on to a C just to try something different and we find we tend to camp longer and travel less now that we are retired.

  • I have had a 2006 210 Popular for 3 years. I like the size and layout very much. The bathroom layout convinced my wife that a B would work.
There are some things that I have had problems with, both in construction and design. If I were looking for a new one at this time I would wait to see the new designs that should be coming out on the new Ford and Chrysler van bodies. While I like the Chevy chassis it is an older design that I suspect GM may drop in the next few years.
