- Bruce_BrownModeratorJim that's just awful. Did everyone make it out safely and an idea what caused the fire?
- TucsonJimExplorer IIBruce - The most likely cause of the fire was a fuel line coming loose after a Ford dealership changed the fuel filter. But there was no evidence left to confirm that theory. We were driving 55mph when the fire broke out. We were able to get stopped and safely bail out (including our doggie) before we were injured. We did breathe in some smoke before getting stopped, but there were no lasting effects.

Fuel usually burns cleaner and most often comes with a "BANG"
That looks like fiberglass and frame materials smoldering.
Whatever material they used to build the coach.
The biggest flame at the time seem to be from awning.
diesel does not burn the same as Gas. Diesel is just stove/furnace oil is all it is and has lots of black carbon smoke when burning
