A single fuel source (diesel) would be the advantage assuming one didn't order the optional Efoy fuel cell which uses methanol.
I like propane too. Some folks don't like it though.

Assuming 2 house batteries as being standard then it is maybe 360 lbs extra. Subtract the 150 lb Onan and you're down to 210 lbs. Then subtract the propane system, tank and propane.......... It might not be that much difference.
