Maybe I have no taste, but I thought the rear slide was a pretty good engineering feat, and I am genuinely sorry to see it gone. I'd take that over the RS-E any day. Not that the RS-E is bad, but if I'm boondocking for a long while, I can take 1-2 20 pound propane bottles (which can keep things heated/cooled with an Extend-A-Stay kit) and a couple 5 gallon gas cans, which would allow me to stay until the waste tanks were full.
