Many of us agree that the facts released by RT just do not add up for powering the A/C on this RS-E from batteries. I see no way a 10 to 12,000 BTU A/C running on "hi" could be battery powered from the 8 batteries for even 5 hours. Using the following figures: A/C drawing 12amps running for 5 hours and a 92% high efficient inverter would require over 7,800 watts from the battery bank. It is true that the solar panel could help, but you need 650amps for that 5 hour period and a number of posters have stated that the battery bank will only provide about 300amps when taken down to 50% and what if the sun is going down, you are under some trees, you have fired up that electric stove or the water heater?
