Base price is about $123,000. Not that much more than the other Roadtrek Sprinters. Options do increase the price considerably but several of the options like the Efoy system and the switch to lithium batteries from the 8 AGMs is not necessary.
Roadtrek is already offering the Etrek technology - for example the no direct sunlight solar system - retro fit to existing Roadtreks. The work must be done at the factory and the price is fairly reasonable.
The Etreks are selling faster than they can be produced and they have not been shipped out to dealers yet. All sales have come from RV show demonstrations. This really is a step ahead. You can choose to believe that or not. While I don't prefer Sprinter models, I very much like many of the features this has to offer and look forward to seeing the technology on the Chevy Roadtreks in the near future.
Robert,
its amazing how much of an expert you've become in your almost 2 years of ownership.it's good not to be a novice anymore. i have read your blog and you are becoming an expert no doubt.
it is true that some of the techniques put into the ETREK are good . as always it's at what price.
all i can say is marketing 101. Talk it up big, limit supply so can say can't meet demand, yada yada yada.
the e-trek is cool but as i've said before at those prices it's still rarified.
