you know i keep reading this-
since 2007 all diesels have to have dpf. all small vehicles,cars,pickup p trucks and vans by all manufacturers use SMALL dpf's. in diesels
they all have the same issues not just MB. the best case scenaria for these small dpf's are high temperature runs and minimized idling.
ford and Gm also have high idle options on their diesels.
most of these small dpfs are not cleanable like their big truck siblings.
they have to be replaced when full and are about 3000 dollars
