I did a little more research on idiling laws, and it appears most, or all the laws, refer to commercial vehicles, or trucks over 10,000 lbs, but this could certainly change in the future.
As Mumkin was saying, what effect does idiling for 30 minutes, maybe only 2 or 3 times a week, have on a Sprinter. I have no idea, and maybe none, with that small amount of idiling,
I agree, I'm sure Rt consulted with MB, but I wish Rt would give out a lot more info about the E-Etrek, especially about the air conditioners run time.
