I can't believe this thread is continuing about a vehicle no one owns.
On the other hand-
DPF's are the bane of modern diesels.
good dpf maintenance are the key to keeping it working as long as possible before it has to be replaced/cleaned-big bucks.
I would do as little idling as possible.
