I think we can put this Idle thing to rest. I have a 2007 Sprinter and I Idle it 5 days a week for up to an hour and have done so since 2007 when I purchased my Sprinter NEW.
Now have nearly 90K on it ans she runs like new, in fact better than new, and last week I got 26mpg on my last trip.
It's always AMAZING how people can pick one thing out on any vehicle that some maybe a few people have had problems with and then that is the ONLY thing they discuss about that vehicle.
