Roadtrek introduces the RS E-TREK

Like Kendall69,I have a 2007 Sprinter(PW Plateau). The pre-2008 models with i-5 and no Bluetech involving EGR&DPF system issues have no system prohibitions that i am aware of. While I want to eventually get a newer Sprinter,these potential problems and a possible fuel system issue with diesel non-compliant sulphur fuels gives me pause. Like Kendall69 I can idle my rig or, use whatever diesel fuel is available. THe issue for Bluetech engines in Mexico,where the diesel fuel is non-compatible might be a further consideration. Does anybody know if these same V6 MB engines in EUROPE use Bluetech additives like MB and BMW use with their later model diesel engine systems in the US and Canada. So much for technological progress!Surely there must be diesel engines in vehicles in the States or Canada that dont have that paraphenalia.(See Post "Sprinter Diesel Mexican Fuel" discussion on page 2 of RV.NET B Site.
