Roll Up Hose

I have been using these for 2 years now and thought I would post some comments on how they have performed.

Roll Up Hose

I bought the first one (25 ft.) on a lark figuring it might be useful for washing the coach, car, and etc. rather than monkeying about with the normal service hose. Quickly found that the 25 ft wasn't quite long enough for the job but still useful. Later started using it as my service hose because it was so easy and a year later bought a 50 ft for utility use. This year I ditched the regular water hose and started using the roll up exclusively.

While a great product it's not all roses and sunshine as there are some limitation to work around.

First is that they kink real easy but with some care in laying it out that isn't a serious issue. Just takes some care.

Second is that they aren't durable enough to leave pressurized. My work a round is to use it fill the FW tank than turn it off and run on the internal tank and pump. Again, not a big deal when you get used to it.

Thirdly, when rolling it up it takes a little forethought to ensure there are no kinks or the water doesn't drain. I simply stretch it out straight before disconnecting than roll it up. The 50' hose completely fills the reel so it needs to be wound tightly or it doesn't ft.

So far this product is working great and being able to ditch the bulky kinky water hose more than overcomes the few limitation.

Just though I would pass on my observations realizing that others may have varying opinions.
