The instruction manual for my Coleman also advises to be careful running the A/C at night that it will ice up if it was a particularly hot day and then suddenly cool at night. They recommend adjusting the thermostat to a higher value at sundown.
We get a lot of those days in Michigan. It was 102 yesterday evening and 58 this morning.
