Okay. Thanks everyone. :) I won't run it on low anymore and I won't pull my bedroom curtain. I recall reading somewhere (when still living in an apartment that had a window a/c that liked to freeze up) that if the a/c is too strong for the space you are cooling, it will freeze up when left on high cool. Well, it wasn't on high cool but I DID make the space a significant-amount smaller by pulling the curtain.
The knobs are on the a/c unit itself. One is just a dial for the thermostat and the other has one setting only for just the fan, then low, medium and high cold settings. The thermostat goes from cold to warm.
I'm sure everything else is fine. Thanks again and if it does refreeze, I will investigate the other things you suggested. But no more low cool for me. (And I WISH it got cool at night, but it's horrendous lately. Very hot and humid.)
