rpm sweet spot on class A with 365hp v10 for mpg?

I'm in the process of buying a new to me 2008 Georgetown 36' ds350. After driving it i noticed that it is a high revving engine. No problem. But very different from my diesel. I'm curious. For those ...

Oh we have 6 gears, where's the other one, I can only find 5
