I recently had all the caulk removed from the roof of the rig and replaced with new caulk. In my experience, the caulk gets blasted by the sun and slowly shrinks and deteriorates. Removing and re-applying the caulk is cheap leak insurance.
I can't imagine covering an entire fiberglass roof with rubber.
