Please only use products appropriate for RV use. Your RV has a fiberglass roof which really should never need any coating. The seams should use a self leveling caulk such as Dicor or eternabond - which were invented specifically for Rv's. Gaco is for houses. Your Rv is not a house. Houses do not have fiberglass roofs. it also contains petroleum which will cause a lot of issues to an RV finish and seams. Your wash guy does not seem to know what he is talking about when it comes to RV roofs.
I have to ask, do you have an issue with your roof? Is it cracked and/or leaking? A fiberglass roof is pretty much a forever kind of thing provided it's maintained and should never need to be covered with anything. Seems like everyone here is telling you the same thing, Dicor or eternabond on the seams and that's it. Your wash guy is trying to sell you something you don't need - or want. And if you still are skeptical, I have ocean front property in AZ for sale. Please PM me for details.
