You're disconnect switch doesn't disconnect everything, you should really be disconnecting the main battery cables so that you don't have this problem.
As for how long, I would expect your Kountry Star to have some sort of panel that tells you what the amp draw is when the generator is running. With everything else turned off (not drawing power from the generator or batteries) you should be charged when the amp draw on the generator drops to 3 - 4 amps.
