Your remote panel will tell you. You will charge the batteries very quick at first, I believe a "bulk charge" where it will charge at 14.4 for a while then drop to a "float" charge holding them at 13.3 or 13.6 for a while. I would not even start a thing unless you are willing to let the genny run for at least an hour. In fact, I would turn the red knob, switch the door buttons on, and start and run the genny for a couple of hours.
