Hey guys I’m looking at a 96 Bounder with 11k and I noticed when he started up the generator and then the AC the AC would turn on but it would keep clicking like it was going on and off and the light on the panel said SERP which would flash. After a few minutes it stopped and would run fine then the compressor would kick in and it would get cold.. the deal is both ACs did this when turned on One at a time. I thought maybe it was because the generator was cold but after running it a while and turning it off and the generator off and then doing it again 5 minutes later it did the same thing. Is this a safety on the generator that it needs to run for 5 minutes before it gets full power? Thanks guys!
On your system the Genset starts and then 45 seconds to 90 seconds the ATS engages power to the RV. THEN the Electronic Climate control "analyzes" the 120 system and a few minutes later energizes the contacs for the front or rear AC. Go back start the Genset and wait 5 to 7 minutes and then activate the AC units. Doug
