We bought a couple thermal curtains and hung them between the cab and the house for when we camp in really cold weather or really hot weather. Even with the main privacy curtain, the cab still heats up in the summer and stays cold in the winter. The thermal curtain makes a huge difference keeping the cab temp from entering the house.
The curtain could be used to keep the heat or cold in the cab while driving, however we've never found a need for that. Although hot and/or cold air does escape the cab to the house while driving, it hasn't caused the cab to lose temperature.
