I don't have much of a problem keeping my coach cool while underway.
I set the A/C vents straight down the middle of the two fron seats and open the rearmost, in my case the washroom, roof vent.
Hot air naturally rises and the open vent (with MaxxAir cover) creates a powerful vacuum while underway, this both pulls the hot air out and draws the cool air further back.
It works quite well.
