I would steer clear the KOA card...I did the same as the other poster who said if he is not staying at many KOA's on a trip, don't renew. So I let it expire...you have 60 days according to the website to reinstate your points if you rejoin...so I did, within the time frame, but they dumped the points anyway. When I called to point out their error I got a very indifferent attitude from the several people whom I got (begrudgingly, I guess) transferred to. None of them could care less whether I kept membership or not. I was even told in a nasty way that they would reinstate some of my points but it will never happen again. WTH, it was their error! If everything else if equal anymore after this, KOA will be my LAST place to camp! You have to have 6500 points for a measly $10 off a campsite anyway. Woohoo. Costs $24 to join, you get a whopping 10% off. Needless to say, I cancelled the card.
