Can't help you with Myrtle Beach, because I left 45 years ago and it has changed. I can help with "reasonable" maybe. Storage space costs will be tied to land values.
Out here on the plains, the right to look for a parking spot on the grass inside a fence runs about $40 a month, and I pay $62 to put mine under an open shed inside a fence. A garage spot in the same area is about $100 a month, no heat, no electricity.
If I want a similar rural spot within 15-20 miles of a city of 500,000 people where suburbs are starting to reach 30 miles out, I can expect to pay $100-150 a month for a spot on the grass inside a fence, at least $250 for space inside a building. I've not priced garage space in the city center.
Myrtle Beach is so heavily developed now, I would not expect to find any storage yards east of the Intracoastal Waterway between Little River and Murrell's Inlet, maybe even beyond Pawley's Island. I'd look inland, on the road from Little River to Conway, or maybe around Socastee. I would still not expect storage yards to be cheap.
