Hmmm thought these things were built to be outdoors...
Have 14 year old MH (bought new) that has never had a cover and still looks great. I do put some liquid car wax in the water when I wash it and it seems to be just fine.
If you get a cover make sure you are physically able to put it on and take it off. I'm too old to get up on top (as far as I'm concerned) nor am I tempted to use a ladder to work my way around to install one.
Others will say no problem but to me...yes, problem.
