Seems to be some inconsistencies in reporting maybe. If it was a diesel I think the brakes should've held. The drums might've expanded but the springs should've kept applying pressure.

At any rate the amount of fuel in an rv is staggering. The propane is certainly the most followed by fuel tank and next all the combustible components like wood fiberglass and insulation. very scary stuff!!!!
