Thank you DutchenSport for the insights and the reassurance. I was pretty worried about it, because my old fridge would be useless without temperature controls.
I am still a bit worried about the fan that the manual demands I install. It seems to be saying that its necessary to control the fume control and not so much for temperature control. I am hoping to just runt he fridge without it. My old one didn't have a fan and it was fine.
