RV GPS
Hello everyone: We are considering buying an RV GPS. Would love to hear comments on what and what not to buy and if you think they are worthwhile compared to our regular GPS. Thanks, Vikki

IMHO, the problem with any GPS is dependency. The RV/Trucker one is no different. They may be accurate at the time they are programmed/updated, but things change, especially underpass clearances. While the GPS is fantastic for getting you where you want to go, too much dependency can lead to uncomfortable and sometimes expensive results. Not trying to diss the 760, it's just way more expensive than units that will do the same thing. I tried one for 30 days and returned it and went with the 2460LMT which I bought off EBay for $79 bucks three weeks ago......Dennis
