Lots of differences in RV policies too. I have progressive and I've been happy with them, but I've never filed a claim either, so that makes them happy with me. One thing I did notice a few years back was my policy kept going up quite a bit each year. So I started looking at what I could do about that and I discovered that my Progressive policy insured my motorhome for the full purchase price in the event of a total loss, regardless of age or value. That only would pay toward the purchase price of a new motorhome. That sounds like a great deal, and it is, but it's also very expensive coverage and that is what was causing the price to go up. So I had progressive knock about $70k off that original value and just insure me at that level and that reduced the premium by quite a bit.
