re. siriusXM. you might want to consider doing what I did for xm in two vehicles. I bought a radio that is usable with their ala carte program. can move it between vehicles and the house. get 50 stations, a couple cost me 25cents IIRC extra a month, for about 5$ a month. then you don't have to go thru the hoops once a year getting the cost for a standard subscription knocked down to a reasonable cost.
just be sure the radio you get has the aux input.

we've had a Sirius/XM radio in our last and now current MH. in both cases it's on a pay-as-you-go plan. S/XM does not call it a PAYG that but that's essentially what it is. cost is $9.99/month for us as we have S/XM in our Jeep...it may be more if you're not a current subscriber. it will auto renew every month until you tell S/XM to stop.

we're on the road for 3-months at a time, usually spring and fall. when we get ready to go I just activate the radio with the plan (no contract) and have them de-activate the radio when we return. you can activate via the website but it must be deactivated by calling them.

you can put the radio to sleep for several months...I think it's 5-months...for a few bucks but as we're never sure when we'll get outta dodge I just deactivate it. doing that costs me $15 to re-activate but if you put it to sleep it will reactivate on it's own when the clock runs out. if that happens when you're on not on the road you'll be paying for a service you're not using.

if you're full-time you can still get the PAYG service (wish I could remember what S/XM calls that) without a contract.

Have not done it, but have replaced the dash radios in other vehicles

Good place to Windows shop (Sorry about the pun. Windows as in Windows 10 Annerversery Edition is the "Window" you look through to shop)

YOu can then choose to order from them or head ot the local Automotive Audio Store, Or Department store, or wherever.

NOTE: some options may include a CD-Changer, holds six or 12 or more CD's and plays them in order, or random. LINE INPUT jacks, USB for a Micro drive (Thumb drive) or other MP3 storage device.

Just call them to cancel your subscription because it costs too much, and they will offer 5 months for $25. They are a real pain in the butt with that. You would think they would just offer the service at a reasonable rate without having to go through cancelling to get a reasonable rate.

they do offer that service, it is the ala carte program. and you avoid every year having to go thru the procedure of knocking them down. I may be off a dollar or two on the mothly cost as it is automatic. but you must have a radio compatible with that service.

Martin's OTR, Is your current radio a standard one DIN size or a 2 DIN? If it is a 2 then look at the 6 CD changer types. A single is just a single CD type. Either way the only difficult part is running the antenna block to the outside. I guess some sets come with the combination antenna and it is still a pain. It's not hard, it's just a pain.

There are as many adaptors as there are car manufacturers. It will convert your RV's cable connector to the cable connector for the radio. It makes it a lot easier as there is no splicing, the cable connects to your existing system.

If you have to enlarge the mounting hole in the dash, there are molded boxes available on ebay to put in the hole and then mount your radio in the box.

David asks a good question - if it is 2-din there are a lot of very nice options such as Pioneer with Nav, touchscreen, etc.

PS, what is a CD? :)

We have a Kenwood DVD/AM/FM/XM GPS unit that also is bluetooth capable for the phone. So far I like it better than the Jensen we had in the last rig.

I didn't like taking my eyes off the road to look and the radio where it was so I moved it to the top of the dash.
