We have a residential unit and for the last 5 years have had no problems what so ever. I don't have to worry about the propane unit catching fire and that has been a problem in the last half decade. I watched a $250K unit burn down to the frame 4.5 years ago and the fire started in the fridge compartment while the unit was underway. If you have any question about a possible fire problem listen to MactheFireGuy make one of his fire safety presentations and ask him how many fire extinguishers made to fit in the fridge compartment he sells to make people feel safer.
