Several things of interest that I have noted when researching various residential fridges for a replacement was:
1. Most residential fridges have a recommended ambient temp range for proper operation,(usually 45-50F on the low end and 90-95F in the high end) Have any members had problems with their fridge, whether OEM or replacement, due to to low/high temps in the outside compartment?
2. The power receptacle in the outside rear fridge compartment does not usually receive power from the inverter in older rvs. The wire from this plug should be removed from the ac panel and connected to the inverter panel.

My Dometic single door has an icemaker. Has anybody seen a smaller (10.1 CF) residential fridge that has an ice maker???

We opted to not get a residential fridge with an icemaker but instead bought a portable one. This gave us more freezer capacity plus one less thing to winterize or worry about breaking. Watch the big box stores as they will have different brands on sale in the $120-150 range. Might check Amazon or Ebay also.
