Depending on who the RV manufacture is and parts available it can take weeks to get some parts. I learned many years ago RV are not cars with parts ready available. I know that with front and rear caps damage, a lot of these are not available even on RV less than 5 years old and have to be repaired which can take weeks to fiberglass and repaint.
There is also the other side of this were the RV is repaired and the owners don't come right away to pick it up. We have seen this a lot of times at repair shops were the owner takes days to weeks to pick up there RV. Then find something else they want fix right then and there, that was not on the work order.
