RV's not HUD standard?

What you found was NOT how RV's are built. Someone did not follow the rules at the Factory. But, just because HUD or your local building codes must be followed does NOT mean your new house is built to the standards or code. Somebody can always do sub standard work and those things are not always caught by the Building code inspector. Having HUD rules means nothing. The Feds are not going to have HUD inspectors at the OEM building facilities monitoring the production lines. They do not even monitor HOME builders. They trust that Homes will be built to HUD specs.
