We also are SD residents who are not there most of the time. We use Alternative Resources as our mail forwarder and to provide a legal address for us. We did this in 02 when we fled California. After going fulltime in the MH for a year we built a cabin in Mo near Branson and are very careful not to be there over 5 1/2 mos per year. It gets difficult but we go to Calif in the winter and spend time in AZ as well. There are a lot of Escapees from Texas doing the same thing. If we ever drop the lifestyle we'll probably become Missourians!!
