We use a bungee cord. There are latches available to do this, care must be use son the install to not hit a coolant line. The Fridge will stay cool during the day if off. We have a 2500W MSW inverter and run the fridge going down the road with no problems. We have also boon docked for 24hrs at a time with plenty of power to run fridge and tv's.
