Screen door opener

A few yrs ago on my previous RV, I purchased a neat little upgrade to open our screen/storm door. It was a plastic toilet flush handle with a ss tubing coming out of the back. Drilled a whole in plastic slider and attached with a retainer nut on the back of flush handle. Worked great. Fast forward 5 yrs and now looking for this device. If my memory serves me correct, this was an individual who was making them at his garage/shop and sold them online. I would really like to have the hockey puck style that is spring loaded and slides up and down but they only make them for the smaller size door slides and appear to be glued in place and not removeable.(https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71WmACG2JFL._SL1500_.jpg
) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any replies. Steve
  • We have a very inexpensive and simple screen door opener.
It is a Camco 43953 and is under $10 at Camping World.

    Hope this helps.
  • The gentleman that sells what you want is named Bill Steele from Nebraska.

Application: The kit is compatible with most travel trailers and fifth wheels. If the standard handle will not fit, I will supply you with a handle that will fit at no additional charge to you. If your sliding panel is a flat piece of plastic, please contact me before ordering.  Will not fit doors on trailer road side.

The pictures show the standard handle mounted on a Philips slider panel with a one inch offset.

Price: $15 plus $4 S&H.  I will ship multiple units for the same shipping charge.

Contact: Please call me at 308-870-4188.
  • Are you looking at the lever type or auto screen door openers?
