Seeking Opinion on F53 Chassis A/C repair cost

We have a Winnebago Sightseer on a 2007 Ford chassis. The chassis A/C is blowing, but no cold air. I took into Ford and they said the condenser is leaking and it needs to be replaced. I was quoted ...

I would do as Son of Norway suggested and look for an independent A/C shop in your area.

Not knowing the construction of the 2007 chassis, but it does seem high. If it's never been serviced since new, it could be low on Freon and not allowing the compressor to kick on. If someone does determine that it is in fact low, make sure they put dye in the system as they charge it to determine where the leak is coming from for the next time.
