- ferndaleflyerExplorer IIILooks like I am paying right at $400. All the filters, oil, etc including the 7500 Onan generator. 10 years ago it was $375 at the same place. This is an 8.3 Cummins and diesel generator.
- Mile_HighExplorerI've only done it once (new to us) and I used Speedco in Denver. They don't get a lot of RVs, so the pricing does get confusing. They debated whether I was heavy or medium duty, ended up only charging light duty but called it Medium duty T5 synthetic blend on the ticket. They also didn't have the fuel filters.
It is convenient for me, so I'll probably continue to work with them, and I'll call ahead for filters. It was $296.20 including an oil analysis for $25. - Yankee_ClipperExplorerThe only two times I don't wish I owned a newer and bigger rig are when I buy tires and change oil/filters.
My F-53 chassis has 13 zerks including four on the drive shafts, which I can get to. The old 460 uses 6 quarts of 5W30 and a TG-8 filter, about $25. The tires, although the weak point on the system, are 235LT16 LR E, so I can reshoe the rig for about $180 per tire.
The Onan Marquis 7000 uses 3.5 quarts of 5W30 and a TG-3600 filter. About $22 for that service. - doc_brownExplorer

What are you guys paying for various services?
I was quoted $700 for oil change, $640 for coolant flush, $285 for generator service.
8.8 Cummins motor
8000 W onan generator
Also curious about fuel filters change?
I use Colton Truck in SoCal. For $1,200 I had
1. Lube
2 oil/filter change and fuel filter change
3. Transmission fluid/ filter change
4. Gen fuel filter change, I do the other gen service
5. Hydraulic fluid/filter change
6. Brake pad check
7. Hubs greased
8. Power spray the engine compartment
9. Tire check
10. Battery check
I estimate my annual cost at $800 which includes numbers 1,2,4,6,7,10 - Passin_ThruExplorerI do my own. We have free oil recycling at our landfill.

Average cost for me is around $275 just for oil and filters.
8 gal synthetic oil = 160
Oil Filter 1 = 75
Oil Filter 2 = 40
Labor = 0 because I do it.
Same here. Supplies for servicing the genny & ISL is $281.88. Add $150 every other year for air filter. - janstey58ExplorerSPEEDCO?? Run as fast as you can, was quoted $200 for both diesel and genny oil change/filter/lube + fuel filters on both. Walked out the door with $480 less in my pocket due to 'up charge' that were not approved by me, and a check engine light after repeated starting attempts (it finally started, but was told to go to a dealer to clear the idiot light). The truck shop across the street laughed when I asked about this, and said they would do the same for $150 labor + parts/oil.

$700 for an oil change? Is that at Paul Everet's?
No, Roger Vogt's in Visalia - John___AngelaExplorerGood morning
Oil change, filter, fuel filter, and grease job including the levelers as well as the generator oil and filter change about 540 bucks Canadian so maybe 400 US dollars. Professional diesel shop works mainly on trucks, dump trucks etc.
