Been using the water pump for 15 years now. My setup has running the incoming water from the CG faucet, through a water softner, then through a really good filter. The filter I use is rated at 2 gallons per minute and will filter all kinds of bacteria, heavy metals, and all such creepy, crawling things. The result is a water tank full of soft water that is void of any extras. The better the filter, the lower the water flow rating.
Then, we use the water pump to supply the interior faucets and shower.
The filter is the controlling item, only allowing 2 gallons per minute would not allow for a stimulating shower. We use bottled water for drinking.
