I've always liked the "Shabby Chic" style and have some furniture pieces that I have painted. I enjoy eclectic decorating and pretty much don't engage in any particular style exclusively for fear of it becoming dated quickly. As others have said in this thread I wouldn't change the style of anything major in the MH (wood cabinets, etc.) but would add decorating touches ie accent rugs, wall decor, pillows,throws, bedspreads, etc. in whatever style that I favor at the time. Those things are easily changed, updated and IMHO wouldn't effect resale value.
