Shortest Class A?

Who makes the shortest Class A?
  • The short ones back then didn’t have permanent beds usually.

Our first A was a 26’ Pursuit. What a piece of entry level.

Dinette no couch, no slide, two 60 pound dogs.

We took it for a three week trip and put it up for sale when we got back.
  • The Winnebago Via is 25’ and a Class A. It is now discontinued.

my first 'A' was a Lifetime Premier dodge chassis 413 engine 23ft

Our first MH was a 21' or 22' Itasca. That thing was awesome!

Models called 27-29 foot in all the major brands. What are you trying to accomplish?

The shorter it is, the easier it will be to get around it on our driveway.
We’d like 4 forward facing seatbelts with car seat tethers for the 2 back seats.
    Sleeps 3-4
    A 6 cu ft fridge
    No corner bed
(Mother of our grandkids says no 3-pt seatbelts, no go.)
We currently have a Class B 22’9” with shoulder harnesses x4, but would like something a little bigger.

2019 Thor Motor Coach Axis 25.6

Not sure if you can really call it a class A. Built on an E450 chassis, rather than the F53, with the cutaway front end removed.

It's built on a bare chassis (the E series is available as a bare chassis as well as cutaway/chassis cab), with Thor making the whole body, so it's definitely a class A.

Smaller class A's were rather more common some years ago. The (still futuristic looking) GMC motorhomes were 23' and 26', for example.
  • I don’t know if it’s the shortest, but Newmar has a Bay Star Sport 2702 that comes in just short of 28’. A very nice quality built unit.
  • Models called 27-29 foot in all the major brands. What are you trying to accomplish? Because the difference of one foot is minimal in daily use and operation of these units.
