You might be better off buying a decent used truck and trailer for your adventures. Strictly speaking cost is one major factor. A MH broken down could cost you thosands in towing and repairs. Whereas a trailer can usually be towed to a repair facility. Broken down truck? Again a small towing bill compared to a MH. Maintenance for house parts pretty much the same. Maintenance for the MH running gear? Blow a motor and 10K would not be out of the question, plus months waiting for someone to do it. Blow a truck motor, sure, but decent used motors are usually plentiful at wrecking yards and most good mechanics can replace one in a couple of days. 3K for mew tires on a class A is not out of the question.
