I have a slightly different approach. I found a rubber sink mat about 18x20. I keep it in the camper and bring it with me to the shower. My slides stay out on the floor and I only stand on my mat barefoot. No sand in the shower. When done I step off my mat right back into my slides. Mat is hung on the side of the camper in the sun to dry.
