Shower size

We are looking at a 2008 F/W Bounder 34G online at a dealership.

I'm looking for the shower size. I looks a bit tight, but photos can fool ya sometimes. I don't see any measurements in the online brochure, and the dealer is closed today.

Anyone with this model have this info?

Thanks....Skip

  • How much time out of your day do you spend in the shower? Unless you're the type that always has hook-ups and spends considerable time in a hot shower, the size just needs to be enough to fit you body with a little elbow room. The tub shower in our Bounder is small but the addition of a curved curtain rod really helped with elbow room. Most Bounders have a recessed sky light that allows room for a person over 6'.

  • Be careful with the overall measures given in the brochures, my C class was advertised as a 22 footer in the original production, I purchased one of the last produced units, the original model was a couple inches over 22 feet bumper to bumper, my unit was 24 feet bumper to bumper and still was labeled as a 22 foot unit.

So take advertisements with a grain of salt but they give you a close size after all, best thing visit a unit and check the shower and the toilet for elbow room, I have seen $200,000+ A units where you had to be a contortionist in order to do the paper work or take a shower with out punching holes in shower stall with your elbows.

  • Dont be afraid to adjust shower head location. Mine was mounted sideways. Recently moved to the front and it feels more natural.

There are even smaller showers too. I think they are "micro showers".

And remember; you can't run the Micro-shower and the A/C at the same time......

  • WJ,

Download or capture the layout diagram.

Now scale it to a know dimension.
That would the length of a bed or
    The coach width as published.

I have done this an hit the actual number to the nearest inch.

  • Safest way is to step into the shower and determine for yourself. Otherwise have the salesman use a tape measure and send you pictures. Don’t forget height too.
