I, too, would think that once you are making your turn, you will see the toad better in the mirrors vs. the rear camera.
When I first start off in the mornings, I check that the tires are rolling on the Honda when I make my first turn through the side mirrors (usually when pulling out of the RV site). You can't see the tires through the rear camera.
What are you wanting to see through the rear camera that is more important than the side camera and side view mirrors? The toad is going to follow you no matter what.
You don't have your toad listed in your signature so if you have an unusual set-up, we are wondering.
