"mikestock".....The Ready Brake, is just the braking system minus the tow bar, same company, same system. The only downside of adding the Ready Brake to your existing tow bar is that it adds a foot of length.
Tow bars are easy to sell. If you think you like the Ready Brute, sell your tow bar and buy the new all in one Ready Brute. You'll be happy you did. My neighbor bought just the Ready Brake unit and added it to his tow bar, but between a drop down hitch, Ready Brake and tow bar, he added about three feet of extra gear. He sold all of the components on Craigslist and then just bought the Ready Brute.
Shop around, their are several companies that offer the system.
