It is perfectly doable, but have you seen first hand the damage that road salt will do? With the possible exception of a stainless chassis Prevost, road salt will get imbedded into every nook and crany and cause excessive corrosion of the chassis and electrical connections. Even Spartan recommends a complete chassis wash after salt exposure. These mh's are just not built to handle the salt as well as modern day cars, and even they corrode rapidly. I just couldn't see exposing a 3/4M dollar coach to salt. If you can afford the King Aire, go first class and get a hotel and save the coach from the potential damage. JMHO.
Where do you think all of that salt goes in the Summer? It is still on the ground from the Winter and when it rains, it is deposited on your coach at any time during the year. That is why some of the owners that have never traveled in the snow with their coach still have radiator corrosion because of road salt.
The only way to avoid road salt is to not drive in any state that uses it for deicing at any time during the year.
