slideout awning
We have a 2012 Tiffin Phaeton. One of the slideout awnings does not retract when the slide is retracted. How do I go about fixing it?

Frequently this is caused by leaves, pine needles, etc. getting caught inside the owning cover and jamming it up. There is normally a screw on each end that needs to be removed, then the cover will swivel up when you depress a button on the other side from where the screw was. Make sure your slide is fully extended before doing this. You may be surprised how much trash is in there!!
