On our door there is are two rotating brackets? on the top that attach the door to the track. If you rotate the one easiest to get at and detach that end of the door you might be able to remove it.
I actually had the track come out of the ceiling to which it was attached and I had to add more screws all along the track to better hold it in place. We now travel with the door closed where I have added more screws. Stuff a rag between the top bracket and door jam to hold it in place for travel.
